Action evidence removed quickly again

This time, the results of the action on campus were removed even faster.

Extinction Rebellion (XR) activists put blindfolds on artworks on campus once again during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday as a protest under the slogan ‘science not silence’. They blindfolded The Sower (again) and the two-part deer Actaeon near Omnia, for example.

In a statement, XR explains: ‘Extinction Rebellion is carrying out this action to point out that we need to be particularly critical of partnerships with the fossil industry in science, the subject of fierce debate at the university at the moment.’

But once again, the action did not stay visible for long. This time, the blindfolds had been removed by 8:30 the next morning.
