People with disabilities regularly encounter problems such as inaccessible lecture halls, unequal digital access and an impossible timetable.

Accessible Academia is therefore being launched on Friday 3 December, the International Day of People with Disabilities. Accessible Academia is a platform run by and for people with disabilities, to enable them to exchange experiences, raise issues and get the voices of people with disabilities heard.

The platform is meant not only for people with physical disabilities, but also for people with a chronic illness, a cognitive disability or neurodivergence. You can read more or join the platform on www.accessible-academia.nl/en.
