Student teams taking part in the Urban Greenhouse Challenge have to come up with a design for professional food production in the Chinese city of Dongguan. The intention was to send a delegation with one or two students from each team to the city in February to collect data and talk to stakeholders. The visit had already been postponed in January because of the coronavirus outbreak. Now it is definitely not going ahead.
Student Challenge visit to China cancelled
The plan for participants in the Urban Greenhouse Challenge to pay a site visit to China will not go ahead because of the coronavirus. Instead, there will be an alternative programme in the Netherlands in early April.
