About us

Resource is the independent journalistic medium for students and staff at Wageningen University & Research. Resource reports and interprets the news and broader context.

Next academic year, we will be published on 11 September, 16 October, 13 November, 4 December, 22 January, 12 February, 19 March, 23 April, 21 May, 11 June and 2 July.

The journalistic independence of Resource is laid down in the editorial charter and monitored by the editorial advisory board. Resource is a member of the Group of Editors-in-Chief of Higher Education Media.

Students also work at Resource. The student editors report in text and images on what’s happening on campus and in the town. They have a meeting once a month.

We are often on the lookout for new student reporters, columnists and photographers/videographers. These are paid jobs. If you are full of ideas and have no problem approaching strangers, send a letter explaining why you would be a good choice, with examples of your previous work if applicable, to resource@wur.nl.
