Most of the Lustrum activities took place at De Dreijen where a Hotel De Wereld bar was recreated. The idea for this came from Ceres handyman Stijn van Hiele: ‘We wanted to create something that represents the pride of Wageningen. First we wanted to recreate the market, but that turned out to be too much of a hassle. The owner of Hotel de Wereld also dropped by; they thought it was really cool.’ Aside from parties, a boxing gala, a family day and a Wageningen day, there was also a rodeo afternoon (see photograph). Tonight is the closing party of Ceres’ 29th Lustrum.
