Blog: Home is where the heart is

Her student room is turned into a small paradise by blogger Aarzoo.

Hello, dear readers. Hope you all enjoyed my last blog on the beauty of spring. I am really thankful to all my beautiful readers who showed me their love in the comment section as well. Believe me, it provides me with the motivation to keep sharing my stories.

Well, these days I am doing my Internship and it really feels great to be working upon something that relates to my interests. I basically go two days a week to Rotterdam for my internship project-related work and it is really a nice experience to learn things from co-workers. Apart from that, I usually prefer to stay and work from home during weekdays. Sometimes, being at home spoils me as I give myself a lot of treats (ha ha) and also naps, that eventually turn into a sleep. I know most of you must have experienced the same, but shhh, I know this nap turns out to be the best sleep of the day sometimes. Later only we know how much work has to be done in order to meet the deadlines. And we the Superheroes manage to do it anyhow.

Great isn’t it, how the pandemic situation has made some of us productive even from home. I have realized that during the pandemic I’ve made myself so comfortable with the online classes by making my room my own classroom. So it is like, my room changes with every phase of my timetable. Sounds funny, but it’s so helpful in keeping myself concentrated as well as happy to work. I have a lot of things in my small room such as a rose plant, cactus, recording mic (as I love to sing), candles, pictures, paintings, speakers, fairy lights and other stuff. All these things have my heart, as I love to enjoy these little things and also, they help me to go happily with the day. After studying and working, I usually listen to songs that make my mood light and also sometimes get me dancing.

Being a single child with working parents, I grew up learning how to find and create happiness with the things around my home. Sometimes, I feel so grateful to all these small things in the world that can pour happiness into our lives.
Most of you reading this must have something in your room with great connections and that bonds you with your happiness. I appreciate all of you for loving yourself and connecting to these things, as your heart deserves the best that’s around in every possible way.
So, keep loving and enjoying the beauty in your room, because this is what makes it a home.
Stay healthy, and see you in my next blog!
