The first Campus Charity Run Wednesday evening was won by Tim van Rooij. He completed the five laps of one kilometre in 17’55”. Behind him about fifty participants followed, mainly students and employees of Wageningen UR. The money raised (around 500 euro) is donated to the Anne van den Ban Foundation which supports students from developing countries to study in Wageningen. A notable absentee was Anne van den Ban himself, who passed away a couple of weeks ago at an old age.

On the 25th of May the first Charity Run took place on the Wageningen Campus. Runners raised money for the Anne van den Ban fund.
