High turnout for student council elections

Almost a quarter of the students has now voted for one of the student council parties. According to a halftime measure the turnout of the elections was 23,5 percent; higher than previous years.

In 2015 and 2014 about 21 percent of the students had voted half way through the elections. In 2013 the turnout percentage was lower even on the third day: not even 15 percent had voted. In 2012 there were no elections.

The final participation last years was 35,11 percent. In 2014 35,4 percent voted.

The student council elections will last until Thursday the 26th of May. On Monday the 30th the results will be announced during the lunch break, on the podium in Forum.
