Video: The secrets of Helix

Helix, the new building on Wageningen campus, only has two boilers for eight floors. What else makes this building special, Resource discovered this during the first tour.

Starting from the 9th of May Helix will be used. In the following two months eight chair groups from the Agrotechnology and Food Sciences Group (AFSG) will move from the Dreijen to the campus. Also the NMR-center will receive a place on campus. Their new building is a technical highlight. For example the building contains several fume cupboards for the chemists and biologists to work safely. It is also particularly sustainable, so sustainable that two small boilers can heat the whole building.
