The retired employee Rob Nout had a painful bike accident when he hit one of the separatingbumps. He had to spend one night in the hospital, but was lucky to have no lasting injuries.
In response to this accident the Wageningen UR reported the situation to the municipality, says Elike Wijnheijmer, employee of facilities and services. Before the municipality could react the province, owner of the bus lane, ordered the separating bumps to be removed. This happened Wednesday morning. Soon a pole will be placed to close the Bornsesteeg road for cars.
